Ready, Set, GO!

I have wanted a blog page for a long time now.  I’ve seen a bunch and thought, what better way for me to keep all of our family and friends updated on our lives, especially James. I won’t post on here every day, but I’ll try to post on here as much as possible.  Call it one of my new year resolutions! 

I hope that you like it.  I am still trying to figure out how to personalize it, add pictures, and all that stuff.  You can post comments if you’d like, but you’ll need to supply your name and email to me (just me) in order to do that.  That just keeps the crazies off the site.  (And I can delete it if I don’t like what you are saying!)

Here is the first update:  We are in the basement right now waiting out a severe thunderstorm warning.  We kept seeing the warning while watching the play-off game, but when we heard the siren sounding through the city of Kennesaw we hightailed it to the basement with James and Ren.  James is playing with all of his toys, Dad is watching the storm on the computer and TV, and Ren is laying on the back of the couch.  You see that I am on the laptop doing my first blog!  We have 3 minutes left in this warning.  According to the Doppler Radar, the storm is past us. 

James just picked up an orange from his pretend food pile and said, “Ball” and tossed it to me.  Such a smart little man. 

Here is James’ newest word.  Ow!  But it’s not for when he’s hurt.  He calls Ren, “Ow.”  He goes up to him and hugs him (lays on top of him) and smiles ear to ear calling him Ow.  It’s quite cute.
